Calves
The calves are made of the gastrocnemius and the soleus. They let you rise onto your toes, walk, run and jump. Because they work all day they are stubborn, so they respond to higher reps, a full range of motion and a pause at the top. Standing raises target the gastrocnemius, while seated raises shift the load to the soleus. You will also find foam rolling and stretches here to ease tightness after training.
