Traps
The trapezius stretches from the base of the skull to the middle of the back and lifts and retracts the shoulder blades. Well-developed traps give the neck and shoulders a solid look and support heavy lifting. Barbell and dumbbell shrugs are the basics, while upright rows and cleans also hit the area hard. Shrug straight up without rolling the shoulders and pause briefly at the top.
